This group of professionals are considered to be leaders in the industry, which brings to the table a broad base of knowledge that is vital to providing the very best system, service and support.   Lance McClungCo-Owner

  Owner operator, C-10 (Electrical Contractor) RMO, (18) years of commercial residential retrofit and new construction electrical experience and (7) years of design and installation experience with photovoltaic grid tied solar systems. (2) year degree from Navy Advance Electronics Training. (10) years experience in multisystem component level electronics. (15) years experience and as a business owner and Contractor.

  Tim Hamor Co-Owner

  Owner operator, C-46 (Solar Contractor) RMO, (15) years experience as a business owner. (7) years of design and installation experience with photovoltaic grid tied solar systems.

  As the Company Leaders, Lance and Tim both are actively involved in all aspects of this Business from the Sale to Interconnection. The core belief that this is the technology that will lead us to energy independence and sustainability is a driving factor in operational decisions they collectively make.   Paul SullivanSales Manager

  Paul has been in the solar industry since 2005 after having a system installed on his home in Central California. He moved to Chico in 2009 to begin work with Alternative Energy Systems leading their Sales and Marketing efforts. Paul has been involved in the direct negotiation of hundreds of residential, commercial and agricultural solar systems all over the state. He is also recognized as an industry leader and speaks at many solar and renewable related events.

  Robbie Foster Installation Manager

  Robbie started working in construction with his Father as a teenager. After a tour of duty in the US Marines, he attended Butte College and ultimately earned a degree in Construction Management from CSU, Chico. Using his degree and knowledge, Robbie managed the construction of a large subdivision in Sutter County and then several large apartment complexes and warehouse remodels. In 2007 he started his solar career by managing the installation of a 1.4 MW Photovoltaic System. In 2009, Robbie tested for and successfully earned his NABCEP Photovoltaic Installer Certification, the first in the North State. Since 2007 he has been involved with the design and installation of over 5.5 MW of Commercial and Residential PV Systems.

  Brian AguiarResidential Energy Consultant

  Brian Aguiar grew up locally in Orland, CA. With a love for the North Valley, he set out to prepare for his business career at Chico State University. While attending Chico he found that our environment was becoming more of a concern and wished to pursue a business position that promoted the health of our world. While in school he performed multiple internships including the feasibility of biodiesel fuel using the byproduct of rice bran, and also led a marketing campaign for LEED certified building materials for local supplier. In 2008, Brian received a Bachelor’s degree in Business focusing on Entrepreneurship, and also has a minor in Managing for Sustainability. He has since been working in the PV solar industry for over three years as a consultant and has an in depth knowledge of the technology. He was also one of the first qualifiers in the US to have earned his NABCEP certification in PV Technical Sales.

  Chad Blanchard Residential Energy Consultant

  Chad started his solar career in Santa Cruz in 2006 and has served as a design consultant, NABCEP certified installer, and service technician in that time. A graduate of Chico State University, Chad and his family returned to Chico in 2010, began working for Alternative Energy Systems, and eagerly installed a 4kw solar electric system on their home. When he is not talking or reading about solar power, Chad enjoys hiking, biking, and relaxing with his 2 young children, wife, and black lab.

  Rich HawkinsCommercial Accounts Manager

  Rich Hawkins has designed solar energy systems for agricultural, commercial, non-profit and government customers including nationally recognized systems throughout California. Rich has years of experience with multi-national technology companies including executive positions in the US and Asia. Rich is charged with developing mutually beneficial business relationships and designing solar energy solutions based on our customer’s business goals and objectives.

  Amber Ruz Commercial Accounts Manager

  Amber Ruz has several years of experience in solar system design and implementation. She received her LEED AP accreditation in 2008 and designed the solar array which resulted in one of the very first LEED GOLD Certified projects in Butte County. Amber specializes in developing custom solutions by getting involved with the client and developing an in-depth understanding of their energy consumption and future expansion plans.
